Ten years from now, the world of mobility and logistics will look radically different. Global trends and societal challenges are driving this change, such as digitization, sustainability, automation, urbanization and the impact of the corona crisis. Moving people and goods will have to become more sustainable, safe, efficient, comfortable and more reliable. During this event, we explore the future of mobility and logistics, the innovations that will make a difference and the challenges that lie ahead. Please note that this event will be in Dutch.

Besides the pitches of 4 innovative scale-ups that are changing the mobility & logistics sector, we also have some inspirational talks planned for you. On stage we’ll have Tom Selten from Lightyear present the companies scaling journey and how it is driving the development of clean mobility in the automotive industry. In addition, TNO consultant Joelle van den Broek will share insights into what the world of mobility and logistics will look like in the next 10 years. Moreover, TekDelta director Anita and Innovation Manager at ANWB René Herrewijnen will explore how the ANWB deals with the changing world of mobility.

Keynote: Tom Selten Business Development, Lightyear
As our world moves to more sustainable energy sources, Lightyear is driving the development of clean mobility in the automotive industry. Starting from scratch and using a holistic design approach they developed an ultra energy-efficient long-range solar car. Lightyear is a game changer when it comes to the future of mobility. In his keynote, Tom will talk about how the company has scaled up and share the extraordinary journey they have been on these past few years.

Keynote: Joëlle van den Broek Principal Consultant Smart and Safe Mobility, TNO
For the past 10 years, Joëlle has been active in the field of Smart Mobility. Currently, Joëlle is Principal Consultant Smart and Safe Mobility at TNO Traffic & Transport. She advises public and private parties on strategic developments in this field and creates new opportunities with front runners from the industry, governments and knowledge institutes on smart and safe mobility (Connected automated mobility, Seamless logistics and Mobility as a service). With her keynote, Joëlle will introduce the theme and provide insight into what the world of mobility and logistics will look like in the next 10 years.

Interview: René Herrewijnen Innovation & Community manager, ANWB
The Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB offers a wide range of services related to roadside assistance and medical and repatriation assistance abroad, legal assistance, travel, information products, insurances, selling travel related products and many other products and services in the areas of recreation, tourism and mobility. Furthermore, the ANWB is active in lobbying in the fields of driving, mobility, travel and recreation. During the event, Anita and René will explore how the ANWB deals with the changing world of mobility (this part will be in Dutch).

Christian Rood, Leyden-Jar – Technologies 

LeydenJar Technologies BV is a European based high tech venture, developing pure silicon anodes and its production technology, to boost the energy density of Li-ion battery cells for consumer electronics, electric vehicles, and residential energy storage.

Alex Pap,  XYZ Dynamics 

XYZ Dynamics develops high-end electric powertrains which serve as retrofit packages. These retrofit packages are used as: Electric powertrain, to convert new and existing conventional commercial vehicles to electric or hybrid-electric. Or secondary energy storage modules, to operate “off the grid”.
